Breakfast will be included in the registration fee for all participants; and any family or friends who have come along to cheer you on can purchase breakfast for a minimal fee.
Anyone who wishes to register the day of the race must arrive at the Sanctuary no later than 6:30 AM, and we strongly encourage you to consider pre-registering, since it helps speed up our check-in process on the day of the event.
For those of you who will be participating for the first time- we would like to give you some information about the event:
The “Run Into The Wild” event will be a timed 5K run, with lots of great prizes and awards for those who want to enjoy an exhilarating 5K run on a beautiful country morning. Immediately after the runners have begun racing their way to the Sanctuary… our bicycle participants will begin their leg of the journey.
The “Walk Into The Wild” event will begin shortly after the bikes have had a chance to clear the starting area. This event isn’t timed – as it is designed for young and old alike to enjoy! We want everyone to enjoy a leisurely walk, stroll, baby carriage push, hover-round cruise or whatever else you want to do to “get yourself down the road” event.
Families, individuals, school groups, office groups, sororities, fraternities, seniors clubs or whoever are welcome to participate in this casual – yet fun – event. And with each participant obtaining per-mile sponsors, it will be an awesome way for everyone to get their family and friends involved in helping support the animals!
Registration packets, pledge forms and many other resources are available here in our registration page… so please get your materials downloaded or mailed today and start your own personal campaign to win for the animals!
Both events are also open to spectators, so if you would like to come spread yourself along a beautiful stretch of country road, and enjoy a morning of fun-filled action - plan on joining us!
Awesome “Run Into The Wild” and “Walk Into The Wild” Tee Shirts come with every registration packet, and will also be available for sale through both Sanctuary’s gift shops (online, and at the Sanctuary) for those of you that want to help the animals through clothing sales.
So whether you are a competitive runner that is looking to put your rapidity to work for the animals while enjoying a beautiful morning filled with fresh country air… or you happen to be a junior supporter of the Sanctuary, an individual, a Mom, a Dad or even a Grandma that would like to stroll (or ride) for a really good cause – then we would love to have you join us on Saturday June 7th!
Please SIGN UP TODAY – and to get your registration packet and Tee Shirt mailed to you today!
